New Update: This new work Love Affair, I have been working on is officially on hold for a long while, for intellectual reasons.

When a man catches his wife cheating is just a question enough?

Thursday, May 24, 2012

In a fight with your spouse, is it common to run off with another guy?

Tuesday, May 22, 2012

Which event is best for SCENE ONE: The noise of MILLER looking for keys awakens VIRGINIE or the slam of the kitchen cabinet door awakens VIRGINIE?

Wednesday, May 16, 2012

Scoot forward she paints her nails on the end table.  Suddenly, surprised she hears the pot on the stove begin to boil.  Quickly, she fans her nails; runs to the kitchen and turns off the stove top.

So, if God had strict rules about committing adultery, why do women still choose to cheat? My reason is because they are not aware of Gods rules; for this reason may not be a child of God.
What does the Bible say about committing adultery?

Exodus 20:14

“You shall not commit adultery.

Leviticus 18:20

And you shall not lie sexually with your neighbor's wife and so make yourself unclean with her.

Romans 7:3

Accordingly, she will be called an adulteress if she lives with another man while her husband is alive. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she marries another man she is not an adulteress.

Hebrews 13:4

Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

Proverbs 6:24-29

To preserve you from the evil woman, from the smooth tongue of the adulteress. Do not desire her beauty in your heart, and do not let her capture you with her eyelashes; for the price of a prostitute is only a loaf of bread, but a married woman hunts down a precious life. Can a man carry fire next to his chest and his clothes not be burned? Or can one walk on hot coals and his feet not be scorched? ...

If a man is found lying with the wife of another man, both of them shall die, the man who lay with the woman, and the woman. So you shall purge the evil from Israel.

But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

Ephesians 5:5

For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

Romans 2:21-24

You then who teach others, do you not teach yourself? While you preach against stealing, do you steal? You who say that one must not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? You who boast in the law dishonor God by breaking the law. For, as it is written, “The name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.”

Proverbs 6:32

He who commits adultery lacks sense; he who does it destroys himself.

Matthew 19:9

And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery.”

For a woman who cheats on her husband, will her actions produce good karma or bad karma?

As VIRGINIE walks to the kitchen, SAYON likes her wide shape, he focuses on her butt.

Saturday, April 28, 2012

Although, marriage is the right move.  How could one wrong move lead Virginie and Miller in the wrong direction?

Thursday, April 26, 2012

VIRGINIE:
(she pleads with Miller, hoping he understands)
                 We needed the money.
MILLER:
(his eyes brows raise, he feels angry)
So, you just went against me behind my back?

What causes a woman to cheat: money, sex, or companionship?

Friday, April 20, 2012

For Miller, Virginie, and Sayon characters in Love Affair, I am reading zodiac traits to determine and develop the personality of their character (for sure, neither characters will have a personality of an Aries or a Virgo).

I added a new character to Love Affair: Pearl, a neighbor who is a witness to Virginie and Sayon's affair.
The season of  Love Affair is Spring.
What is the definition of temper tantrum?

I haven't known what to write about in the last few days, so I haven't written anything at all. Today should be a good day. No work. After my morning activity of tree planting in Queens, I will revisit what I have written for the first act for a review. -Later!

Tuesday, April 10, 2012

After beginning the story with VIRGINIE meeting SAYON, I've decided to change the beginning, and begin with VIRGINIE and MILLER. Why the change?  To introduce the condition between the relationship of VIRGINIE and MILLER, first.

Friday, April 6, 2012

So, I've decided to print just the progress of ACT ONE, to reread it a few times until I think its complete and clear.

Wednesday, April 4, 2012

I changed my mind. In the opening of the story; instead of Sayon doing push-ups when he first meets Virginie, I want him to be jumping with a rope, reciting lyrics to a song.

Research: Question: What needs to be altered on the back of a wedding dress?
Tonight, as I work on Love Affair script, on youtube I'm listening to Mario Barrett's new R & B (love and romantic)  song "Falling Down".
What is the main question in the story? Can Virginie and Miller fix their marriage?

Wednesday, March 21, 2012

Virginie can be moody and insecure, a whiner; whereas, Sayon is independent, aloof, and can misunderstand, and Miller can be devotional, accountable, with a love to be surrounded by a small group of people.

Okay...I googled: french girl names, and I like the name Virginie.  Tya's new name is Virginie!
I'm thinking about changing Tya's name to a french name. Why? French language is a romantic language, and a french name will symbolize the theme of the story.

Research: Question: What do men find sex about women?
Character Profile: Sayon is having and affair with a married woman, and becomes obsessed with her, and when she leaves him, he becomes violent.
Sayon as an armed security guard., which means he carries a gun. How do I reveal this in the story?

Monday, March 12, 2012

That was quick! Here's my joke: Bride Tara says, "Good thing I I lost some of that weight; after awhile, waddling around fat you start to walk slow like a snail and feel like a whale." Lol.
I want to add comedy, or a funny joke to a dialogue conversation between Tya and her client, Tara.  I am not funny... So, I'm going to read wedding jokes written by other writers to help me create my own funny joke!

First of all, I must admit that as I write the story, characters objectives are not identifying with the idea I had in mind.  It seems their objectives are bringing the story into a different direction with the same plot.

The problem I think is, I thought I knew early before creating the story who the protagonist and antagonist were, but it seems like the antagonist actually may be Tya's husband, Miller.  Why? Because Miller's gambling habits are conflicting with Tya's desire to have a happy, loving and supportive marriage with him; however, she seeks get what she needs from Sayon; therefore, she commits adultery.

Tuesday, February 28, 2012

I have began writing Act I, Scene 3, and I want this scene to be the first sexual encounter of  Tya and Sayon, but I can't figure out the point of his visit.

Monday, February 27, 2012

Suddenly, I have decided to change character names for a few characters: La-Ron to Sayon and Kevin to Miller. Why the change? As I recited the old character names; the names didn't appear memorable.

The plot of Love Affair: Tya cheats on her husband due to suspicion and loneliness.

A woman should know her husband just as a husband should know his wife.  How did Tya's husband, Kevin, not know she was cheating on him?

Wednesday, February 22, 2012

An event of the story: Tya walks on her way home from a store,  she runs into La-Ron.  He offers to carry her bags. He asks does she have time to hang out.  She says, yes.  At the house, he walks inside behind her, he uses his foot to close the door. The door slams.  Tya stops and drops her bags on the ground, she turns to him, she walks to him.  He holds two bags.  Tya pulls his pants close to her, unbuckles his belt, unzip his pants, gets on her knees,  pulls his penis out, puts it in her mouth and begins to suck, it.  La-Ron, drops the bags, and leans up against the door. La-Ron aroused, tells her to get up and bends her over on the couch, from behind he penetrates his penis inside her.
How does a love affair begin? Physical attraction.

What action happens first?

ACT I
Scene 1
Its Sunday, early morning.  La-Ron's outside his doing push-ups and Tya, his neighbor is pulling a piece of furniture out the house to put at the curb.  La-Ron see's her struggling.  He finishes his last push-up, walks over to her, and asks does she need help.  Tya declines and continues to push and pull the piece of furniture.  La-Ron walks over to the furniture to help.  Tya stops.
TYA:
No, thanks.  I told you, I can manage.
La-Ron ignores her.
LA-RON:
Why do women always have to do things by themselves?
TYA:
No. Why should we have to wait for a men to get things done?
La-Ron laughs.
LA-RON:
Ha, ha.  Your right.  But, I am standing right here, right now.  Wow! You should accept my offer and let me help.
TYA:
Okay.  Take the other side.
La-Ron grabs the edge of the piece of furniture.
LA-RON:
Ready? Pull!
Together they move the piece of furniture to the curb.

Research: Subject: The mentor. Who will be La-Ron's mentor?

May be this online article will help determine who this person should be: The Hero's Journey - Meeting with the MentorFrom Christopher Vogler's "The Writer's Journey: Mythic Structure": http://adulted.about.com/od/howtos/a/hjmeetingthementor.htm

Who is the mentor in a story? The mentor prepares the hero for his journey and to accept the adventure; it can be man, woman, or God.

Reference:

Peterson, D. (2012). The Hero's Journey - Meeting with the Mentor From Christopher Vogler's "The Writer's Journey: Mythic Structure." Available from About.com Guide.

La-Ron: What about him is interesting? Why is he so unique? Does he have charm? Is he intelligent? What makes women fantasize and desire to be with him? La-Ron Malone is a nice guy, he is the good guy.  He is the guy most women want to take home to meet their mother; he is the conventional lover all women dream of.
Who is Tya? Tya the ANTAGONIST is patient, confident, determined, selfish, distant, aloof, and mysterious.
What is the conflict of the story? Tya commits adultery, and has not told La-Ron, the other guy, she is married.  Things between Tya and La-Ron become a conflict when he wants to spend more time with her, and she can't.  However, instead of telling him the truth, she distance herself and pulls away from La-Ron hoping he catches a hint, which he does.
"All character personalities and scenes should consistently be focused on the plot or main point of the story." (Nosy Rosie)

Monday, February 13, 2012

La-Ron Malone's wife died of breast cancer, its been years since he enjoyed the company of a woman in his home or even felt the closeness of a woman's body.  A typical day for him is work and then, to the gym.  After watching his wife die in his arms, he never looked at another woman the same way he felt for her.  Instead, of entertaining romance, in his spare time on a day off, he travels or volunteers with the Feed the Children of the World.  Giving back to the community makes La-Ron feel good, though, he never considers love.  Until he meets Tya Barrett.  Tya's independence and strong will reminds him of his wife.  He never considered replacement of his wife but his thoughts keep recalling Tya.
Technique / Style: I will use mathematical term; symmetry to help unfold the story Love Affair through characters and scenic design.

Exodus 20:17

King James Version (KJV)
17Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

Exodus 20:14
 King James Version (KJV)
14Thou shalt not commit adultery.
Who is La-Ron Malone?  La-Ron the PROTAGONIST is compassionate, confident, passionate, hopeful, faithful, determined, and strong.

Why do people divorce? There were many reasons I discovered. Here's a few solutions: talk, listen, compromise, and stop arguing over petty stuff! Lol.
At the moment, I am online reading Divorce stories in search for one answer: Why do happy married couples break up? Lol.
I need at least one more important character as a mentor. I'm thinking the role for the character; a neighbor, a parent, a friend, a friend of a friend, etc...
And, the Antagonist character's name will either be:

  • Zola Barrett   La-Ron Malone
  •  Tya Barrett   La-Ron Malone
  • Viera Barrett  La-Ron Malone
But, when I look at each name as a pair with La-Ron Malone, Tya's name stands out better as an opposite opponent of La-Ron's.  Therefore, the Antagonist's name is Tya Barrett.

Okay! So, I want to begin discussing the background of the Protagonist character, but I need a name for him.  I googled: What is the sexiest letter of the alphabet? I found S or L are my two choices. Therefore, I choose the main character's name to be: La-Ron Malone.

I may go with Sayon.
Antagonist character description: African-American, Female, age between 25 to 30 years, brown-skinned, slender, long straight black hair.  After doing research for African- American baby girls names, I have considered names: Zola, Viera, or Tya. I am not sure which name is best....

A woman's erotic obsessed affair turns deadly and regret.

Adultery: Sexual unfaithfulness in a marriage.-Webster Dictionary

What is the price a woman could pay when she cheats on her husband?
